On May 23, 2014, the representative of Australia Volunteer International (AVI) – Ms. Tran Thi Nga had a meeting with Dr. Vo Hoang Khiem – Vice Rector of BLU and the officers of International Cooperation Department at BLU. At the meeting, Ms. Nga provided basic information about AVI. As she said, AVI is an international organization that connects people and organizations internationally to learn and share goals within their strategic priorities.

            On this occasion, Mr. Vo Hoang Khiem had brief introduction about the establishment history, training programs and international cooperation of BLU.

               The two representatives had considerations over values and agreements in the educational cooperation. Both also discussed the conditions and responsibility for dispatching international volunteers to BLU in improving English skills for teachers and students. BLU focused on the long-term cooperation with the aim of the development of English training environment. The AVI representative promised to provide and support BLU international volunteers to achieve its goals as well as to accompany in the development of English training and studying environment.

               Although it is the first time the AVI paid a visit to BLU, it is a promising chance for their bright future collaboration.
