THE OPENING CEREMONY OF IT TRAINING IN 2013
With the agreement of the People’s Committee of Bac Lieu province, Center for Vietnamese - Korean Technology belonging to Ministry of Science and Technology has sent volunteers to Bac Lieu University to support the University about information technology, digital technology, and learn the cultures of the two countries from July 04th 2013 to August 30th 2013.
This is the 5th time that Bac Lieu University has been honored to welcome Korean volunteers who will support IT and cultural exchange.
On July 04th 2013, Korean volunteers had a meeting with BLU leaders. On behalf of the university, Mr. Dao Hoang Nam – the Rector of BLU welcomed the volunteers. Mr. Dao Hoang Nam expressed the desire that the volunteers can overcome the difficulties caused by language barriers and living conditions’ changes to complete the job well. He also promised to create advantage conditions for the team while working at the University.
On this meeting, Korean volunteers sent their gratitude to the concern that the school has for the team. They also promised to try all their best to impart their knowledge to the students in order to help the students have more knowledge about information technology.
On July 05th 2013, the University organised an opening ceremony for the IT training. The ceremony delightedly had the presence of:
1. Ms To Viet Thu – Chief of Science Management and International Cooperation Department
2. Ms. Trieu Yen Yen – Head of Informatics System Division of IT Faculty
3. Officers from the Science Management and International Cooperation Department, teachers from IT Faculty
4. Korean volunteers and students from the IT Faculty
The content of this training mainly focuses on Android Programming and Java S.C taught by 4 members of the team. After the opening ceremony, the volunteers started their training for students in campus II of Bac Lieu University.
