On September 13th, 2023 at Lecture Hall A - Campus 1 of Bac Lieu University, under the Rector Board’s permission, Agricultural Faculty and Vietnam Intron Life Sciences Co., Ltd (Branch of Indian Intron Life Sciences Group) organized the seminar "The needs of the Aquacultural industry - Opportunities and business situation in the current context" for lecturers and senior-year students of the Aquacultural major.
The Seminar warmly welcomed Dr. Tien Hai Ly - Deputy president of Bac Lieu University; Representatives of Intron Life Sciences Vietnam Co., Ltd: Mr. Karumanchi Kiran Babu - National Manager, Mr. Murugesan Senthil Kumaran - Technical expert, Mr. Dr. Kuppan Arumugam - Technical expert; Representatives of Agricultural Faculty: Dr. Nguyen Thi Kieu - Dean, Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan – Deputy Dean and aquacultural majored lecturers as well as 150 senior students representing whole of aquacultural field students.

Stating at the seminar, Dean of Agricultural Faculty - Dr. Nguyen Thi Kieu - emphasized that the Faculty is much honored to cooperate and work with the Company regarding expertise, training and job recruitment fields. The Vietnam Intron Life Sciences is a company under the Indian Intron Life Sciences Group, one of the leading companies strongly developing Agriculture - Aquaculture technologies, especially probiotics and other chemical substances utilized in Aquaculture. The Faculty hopes that today's useful contents discussion will supply practical knowledge for students "Every day of learning is a valuable day."

At the seminar, all participants watched the documentary video clip "INTRON LIFE SCIENCES" along with seminar reports of aquacultural field from experts and company leaders (who are PhDs and postgraduated students) and discussed, analized on: Fisheries development situation in the region and on the world; Social needs for aquatic human resources; students’ standard criteria in recruitment of employers; Introducing the scale, strategy and job opportunities at the company; Introducing and exchanging modern technologies and strategic products of the company

On the seminar occasion, the Rector Board also gave souvenirs as a thank you statement to Intron Life Sciences Vietnam Co., Ltd Experts and took photos.
After more than 2 hours, the Seminar was successfully finished. It also effectively contributed to promote cooperative relationships with enterprises for mutual development. Thereby, the needs of Aquaculture and High-tech Shrimp Farming majored lecturers and students in accessing and updating practical knowledge, production and business situation in Aquaculture are demanded, as well as exchanging and practicing vocational skills and learning about the working environment, internship and recruitment needs for students. The Institution leaders as well as the Faculty ones look forward to continuing to collaborate and strengthen cooperation with the company in many areas such as training, researching, job recruitment and community service in the coming time.
