On the morning of September , 2023, the External Assessment Delegation of the VNU-HCM Center of Educational Accreditation - (CTE) led by Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Hong conducted a preliminary survey at Bac Lieu University.
Participants of the Delegation included Ass.Prof, Dr. Tran Thi Hong - Head of the Delegation, MSc. Hoang Tho Phu - Secretary, Ms. Nguyen Bao Van - professional secretary; Welcoming and working with the Delegation was BLU’s representatives such as Dr. Phan Van Dan - President; Dr. Ho Huu Tuong - Deputy Head of the Education Quality Assurance Team; Representative leaders of BLU’s affiliated Dept., Trade Union and Youth Union.

At the meeting, Ass.Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong deployed the working program, principles, methods, and criterias of the survey operation at Bac Lieu University. The survey team has completed the proposed contents such as: (1) studying self-assessment records and evidence; (2) surveying the working rooms for the External Assessment Delegation, interviewing rooms, functional rooms, practice rooms, etc.; (3) working with the BLU’s Rector Board and some departments on the following contents: introducing the delegation’s present, purpose of surveying plan; summarizing the preliminary surveying situation and agreeing on the official surveying program in October 2023.

After nearly 01 working day, the preliminary surveying program was successfully completed. Head of the External Assessment Delegation - Ass.Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong - highly appreciated the team members' responsible sense, the careful preparation and coordination of the school leaders and affiliated departments. At the end of the preliminary survey, Dr. Phan Van Dan and Ass.Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong signed a memorandum of understanding. Accordingly, Bac Lieu University will welcome and prepare contents according to the official evaluation program that will take place from 10th to 14th October, 2023.
